NECC stuff:  hashtags to identify postings for EduBloggerCon
From wiki:  http://center.uoregon.edu/ISTE/NECC2008/program/blogging_NECC.php

BLOGGING, PODCASTING, STREAMING: Use the tag “EBC08″ to identify and search for general posts.
TWITTER: Use the hashtag #EBC08
What’s a hashtag? They’re like tags on Flickr, only added inline to your post. You create a hashtag simply by prefixing a word with a hash symbol: #EBC08. Hashtags were developed as a means to create “groupings” on Twitter, without having to change the basic service.
To use hashtags in your posts you need to go to hashtags on Twitter and click on “Follow.” Then whenever you tweet, include the hashtag #ebc08 anywhere in your 140 characters. :-) You can track the postings with this URL:  http://hashtags.org/tag/EBC08

NECC Blog Tags and Feeds

From NECC website:  http://center.uoregon.edu/ISTE/NECC2008/program/blogging_NECC.php

Be sure to use the following general tags when blogging about NECC so your posts can easily be found: necc, necc08, necc2008.

And, when blogging about a specific session, be sure to also reference the individual session tag so your post will be linked back to the individual session listing on the NECC Web site. Below is an alphabetical listing of NECC session tags by presenter with customized blog and Flickr links and feeds for each.
