I like that it is so easy to change the primary title of this Blog! This is the third iteration, from Maricopa ITv to EdTech 2.0 to TI, Web 2.0. The downside of consolidated blogs? If you have something to say about somewhat unrelated topics – is it appropiate to combine entries or is it proper blog-iquette to separate them? Read on and comment back your thoughts (2 unrelated items combined here). Does a Value-Pak Blog make you uneasy?
Why? This blog was originally one of three; ITv at my district; IN Group at my district; AzTEA – a mostly volunteer organization supporting teachers in reaching their classroom TI goals. I find the ITv title obvious, it was all about videoconferencing ‘Interactive TeleVision’!
I changed it to EdTech, a popular designation used in many other school districts, it has a nice ring, it was explanatory. But I must experiment, I must play- even with such a small thing as a blog title! (note – with some blogs, you must create a new blog to have a new title)
I find it increasingly distracting to maintain meaningful – but separate – content in multiple blogs. Blogging is so EZ and accessible. My computer is always on and always close at hand! But why write if there is nothing to say – and opening 3 blogs, the sheer effort is exhaustive 
Of greater importance, I find that all of my TI interests have become seamlessly (transparently, one might say) integrated into one another. ITv is one mode of engaging your students with the broader world, the IN (Integrate Now) Group is a group of district teachers (K-12) who were anxious to embark with Gina Pinch and I on a journey bringing 2.0 philosophy & tools to our district. AzTEA, by virtue of its mission, and by virtue of the incredible array of talented and dedicated and tireless volunteers working as teachers helping teachers are , after all, really all one and the same.
ONE Mission, ONE Goal, and last but not least… ONE Blog!

Ruth retires in a few short weeks from both an illustrious career at Tempe Elementary School District and as Eastide AzTEA Chapter Chairperson.
